You can make a difference
If you want to make a difference to the lives of children facing social and economic challenges we would love to hear from you.
Red Kite Foundation
Nurturing ambition, creating possibility
As a Trust we are committed to nurturing ambition and enriching the lives of all children within our school communities and strive to bridge the gap for those who are socially or economically challenged.
Our Red Kite Foundation is a fundraising initiative as part of Red Kite Learning Trust designed to enhance the life experiences and opportunities of children in our care facing challenging circumstances.
This Foundation aims to help overcome social and economic disadvantage in line with Red Kite Learning Trust’s charitable objects.
Initial funding has been allocated from our commercial work with Pagabo and we aim to build further funds from a combination of fund-raising and sponsorship.
Overseen by our Trustees, our Red Kite Foundation will help schools turn creative ideas into programmes and activities to offer to individual pupils or groups of pupils. Our Foundation aims to give children life-long memories by giving experiences that they would not usually be able to access. This could be a trip to an event; encouragement to develop a talent, or a programme or experience to enjoy – schools will ensure that the funds are carefully directed to make the biggest difference and The Red Kite Foundation Panel will oversee the work.
“We put ethical leadership and excellent governance at the heart of our Trust, serving our schools and communities with fairness, honesty and a hunger for social justice.”
The following five bids have been approved:

- Temple Learning Academy £2,100 - A contribution to complement the school’s fundraising to subsidise seven students on a groundbreaking MFL trip to Barcelona.

We would love to hear from companies and individuals and any organisations who would like to partner with us in our mission to help the children in our care who are most in need. Our hope is that our Red Kite Foundation will provide wonderful opportunities for children to develop their talents and enjoy life-enriching experiences giving them memories for life! Our Headteachers and our Trustees will ensure that your contribution to our Red Kite Foundation will directly benefit the children that need it most.
If you have an idea for how our Red Kite Foundation can help a Red Kite pupil, please make contact through our schools.
