Tim Milburn

Headteacher

In 2002, Tim achieved qualified teacher status and started his career in education that has spanned over two decades. He has had the privilege of working in five secondary schools across Yorkshire. Throughout his career, He has held various leadership roles, including Subject Leader, Assistant Headteacher, and Deputy Headteacher. 

Tim's commitment to professional development has led to him completing a Master's degree in School Leadership of Mental Health. Additionally, he is a certified Mental Health First Aider. In 2016, Tim passed the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leaders, and in 2023, he completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship. 

From 2020 to 2023, Tim served as the Safeguarding Lead for Red Kite Learning Trust, ensuring the safety and well-being of students across all our schools. Since 2020, he has also been a facilitator for the National Professional Qualification in Leading Behaviour and Culture, sharing his expertise and experience with aspiring leaders. 

As a former student of Rossett School, Tim often talks about the great honour it is for him to now lead our school as Headteacher.
