Sarah Daly

Assistant Headteacher

Mrs Sarah Daly trained at Carnegie College, now Leeds Beckett University, achieving qualified teacher status in 1991, and began her teaching career as a PE teacher at Rossett School. Since then, she has undertaken many roles in her career, such as Achievement Co-ordinator responsible for the pastoral care and academic attainment of students as a Head of Year. In 2008, Sarah progressed to the Director of Studies of the Personal Development and Vocational Education Faculty, managing all vocational education, enrichment provision and national accreditation schemes. In that time, Sarah was responsible for the complete redevelopment and implementation of a whole school PSHE programme which achieved national recognition from Ofsted in 2012. 

In 2013, Sarah was promoted to Associate Assistant Headteacher where her main responsibilities were in leading Transition, Admissions, Pupil Premium and supporting curriculum development with the Leadership Team. This role developed further to include Careers Leader for which she passed the Level 6 qualification in Career Leadership in 2019. Sarah now holds the position of Assistant Headteacher for Personal Development; a role which focuses on strategic and operational leadership of the personal development curriculum supporting all students to develop their personal skills, attributes, and gain experiences which contribute to all aspects of their overall development whilst at Rossett School.
