Pete Saunders

Deputy Headteacher

Peter trained to be a teacher with Teach First and worked in three challenging schools in London before returning to his home county of North Yorkshire to join Rossett in 2018.  Peter's career includes working as a Geography Teacher, a Head of Geography and an Assistant Headteacher before becoming a Deputy Headteacher.  He has worked in both pastoral and curriculum leadership, working for the Harrow Teaching Schools Alliance delivering leadership training and now supports with the Peer Review process for the Red Kite Alliance.  

Peter is currently leading a new course at Rossett School - Criminology!  This is to broaden our KS5 offer and providing an interesting new subject for our students to learn about the criminal justice system.
