Emma Grimshaw

Assistant Headteacher

Emma has worked at Rossett School for 12 years where her teaching profession started as an NQT, as a Teacher of Geography. Following an initial year as an NQT Emma lead the Geography Department and subsequently the Social Science Faculty before developing skills in the pastoral sector within Rossett School to become a Director of Learning at both Key Stage 3 and 4. Emma then started to develop strong links and relationships with the local Harrogate and surrounding areas primary schools to become the transition lead from Year 6 to Year 7 to provide a smooth transition for our students from primary to secondary school. Now, Emma holds the role as Assistant Headteacher: Student Progress, which is a role that supports all students at Rossett but with a focus on our disadvantaged students so that all Rossett School students can achieve their potential.
